I presume with the Tingle Creek moving to Cheltenham next week it will be a Saturday rather than to bolster the Friday card, whilst the forecast is predicted to get almost tropical down the south west this weekend, thus giving Exeter a chance to stage turf racing for its rearranged fixture from Friday. The next problem for racecourses, and the country, is water logging and floods. My nearest racecourse, Doncaster, stage their usual two day pre-Christmas meeting next weekend and though it is one of the best draining tracks in the country, there is probably a foot of snow required to melt for racing to proceed. I believe William Hill have opened a market on when the next meeting over jumps is likely to be, it would be long odds any racecourse in the north of the country.
