Henry Daly had a good winner yesterday at Ludlow, his local course. He has a massive chance in the Grimthorpe for the same owners with Possol at Doncaster on Saturday but today we need to concentrate on My Moment. The novice chaser runs in the 3.45 at Doncaster, on his three chase races to date he has taken on the best of the novices, he only just succumbed to Dave’s Dream in November, then confirmed that form with a win at Warwick. As he is a novice I am willing to forgive him fluffing his lines at Kempton against Riverside Theatre and he may be better going left-handed.
AP McCoy makes the journey to Doncaster to ride La Sarrazine. 35 days ago she won over course and distance and I can’t believe she is odds against. Surely a repeat looks on the cards.
While Maraafeq is in a good mood it is best siding with him and despite Miss Sarenne only carrying 11-5 courtesy of David Bass, she always seems the bridesmaid and I think Venetia Williams could have a good day at Newbury, Maraafeq runs at 4.30.
