The sun has shone for the past two days giving us hope that Spring is in the air and the weather is finally relenting so the ground can start to dry out. Only then can we have confidence in the form as any runs on heavy ground can have the line carved right through it.
There looks to be a forecast staring out at me at Catterick this afternoon, with the front-running Jim Tango setting the race up for Ferdy Murphy’s Desperate Dex. That will do me for the day though I may have a saver on Desperate Dex to win.
There is much to do over the next few days and with the Festival fast approaching I don’t want to exhaust myself looking at cards having to pass further inspections such as Leicester, but I wish them the best of luck at 10am.
There is much on this evening with the Racing Post Juvenile at Wimbledon, but I’m off to the Emirates to watch Ireland play Brazil and I can’t wait. Tomorrow I’ll have an early look at the Honda Classic for you. It is a tournament I have enjoyed over the years and even tipped up Todd Hamilton the year he won it!
