The Real Deal caught the eye at Newbury with a fast finishing fourth to Alfie Sherrin slowly but surely he seems to be regaining his confidence both jockey and trainer teamed up with a winner yesterday. Looks a surefire nap today in Bangor’s 4.20pm
Arthur Moore with a runner at Bangor that sets off the alarm bells, Marcus Du Berlais has been competing in point-to-points with some respectability, Harry Skelton aboard could be a horse worth watching this afternoon at 3.50pm.
David Bass rode a very good race aboard Peveril at Warwick last Friday. He has accomplished much as Nicky Henderson’s conditional and his trainer has not rushed him yet given him plenty of chances to shine and he has grabbed them without winning. Today he is on his own and in Folkestone’s 3.40pm he has the ideal opportunity to make the most of his claim in testing conditions. He rides Doctored who is four pounds out of the handicap but with his claim he is three pound well in. The horse acts on the ground and can make the most of his feather weight.
