Bangor Folkestone Review 03 March

Bangor kicked off with two odds on shots getting turned over,I was right about Mam Ratagan in the novice chase and he is proving expensive to follow,Braveheart Move was dropping away when blundering at the fourth and was pulled up as if something was amiss.A solid pace throughout the three mile handicap chase resulted in a change of luck for The Shy Man,third horse Newman Des Plages rattled home so didn’t quite replicate his earlier Carlisle victory, where he passed several horses up the gruelling hill.Marodima was soon a distance clear and held on to win by a length in the staying hurdle, can see why The Real Deal struggles over fences,he was clumsy and ungainly at numerous flights here, but stayed on for a closing second.Gamble landed with J.P. owned Award Winner who nearly dislodged A.P. at the first, kept an eye on the betfair market throughout this race and he never showed over 4,McCoy factor?

Star of the show at Folkestone had to be the gallant runner up in the Kent National,Knighton Combe if the ground remains on the soft side,he will be my fancy for the Midlands equivalent at Uttoxeter saturday after Cheltenham, should have a lovely light weight in that event.Penny Doc duly won the maiden hunter, jumped soundly pricking his ears after taking it up three out,he idled in front but won like a hotpot should.
