Fabulous not to be missed action on Racing UK today with Newmarket, Cheltenham, Beverley and Kempton this evening. Many classic clues on show at Newmarket as Cheltenham triggers the winding down of an exhilarating National Hunt season.
It is hard to know where to start at Cheltenham but I like the looks of both Sarika and Sir Bere in the first. Nick Williams horses always improve for their first run Me Voici being a prime example and AP McCoy has a great record riding for Rebecca Curtis.
Burren Legend in the second is racing to get penalties so to run in the Bet365 Gold Cup on 24 April at Sandown so will hope to win this. He improved no end at Newbury last time and is a fresh horse amongst the field.
If you knew Tilt was going to consent to race, 10-1 looks massive each-way but that is a chance you’ll have to take. One last hurrah for Voy Por Ustedes and I’m going to stand by him. He has served the sport well and deserves to win at 3.55
Newmarket and the positives on the exchanges at the time of writing were 2.25 Julius Geezer, 3.00 Longliner, 5.20 Lunar Victory. It is a very hard card and yes, for another year, I am honoured to be tipping in the Newmarket racecard, my nap would be Esaar in the first but can’t wait to watch the Classic trials.
