Rain, rain go away come back again another day. The Easter Break has to date been spoiled by the weather and it is amazing that Haydock and Carlisle have survived the inclement conditions. Salut Flo was touted a possible for the Imperial Cup but instead he waited, bided his time and is appearing, seemingly well handicapped for Haydock’s 3.30 today. He turned his previous Doncaster start into a procession and I think there could be more of the same served up to his rivals.
Lee Edwards and Tony Carroll were a dream team in mid-March racking up lots of winners between them. One of which was Zafrangar at Kempton who is running in Haydock’s 2.20 another one of my picks.
Kempton is an intriguing card in that we should be able to further weigh up stables in and out of form and yardsticks of form lines which can carry us through to the Guineas weekend.
Selections for Kempton are Clairvoyance, Azizi, Shamwari Lodge and Light From Mars.
Have a great Easter weekend
