Looking ahead to Hereford
With Exeter waterlogged only Hereford survives to race on soft ground with their usual mix of novice events and handicaps, how a nine year old maiden Carrig An Uisce has managed to be lumbered with top weight of 11st 12lb in the opener is beyond me,once decent flat horse Tifernati looks thrown in off bottom weight and if the Moore outfit can rekindle a semblance of his old form he ought to take this, all season I have been wary of Chepstow form and though Oscar Gogo bolted home there ,I prefer the claims of market rival Shakalakaboomboom.Previous course winner the grey Power Shared reverts back to hurdles after a Kempton chase success last time, every chance in a competitive race.Cracboumwiz took one horrendous looking fall at Leicester a couple of months ago,I hope he bounces back today and takes the novice chase under Christian Williams, the six length winning distance of Brimham Boy last week should read thirty, every chance of repeating that win over further today,in the finale Abbey Dore does the opposite, after winning over three and a quarter miles last time he drops back almost a mile today and goes there with every chance of repeating his Plumpton victory.
